The series is a joint initiative of Vigyan Prasar and AV-CODE, Ahmedabad in association with BHU Entertainment, Mumbai. This weekly show commenced on 11th May 2010 on the technology day in DD National. The 9.30 am Tuesday slot programmes are produced specially for children and telecast during the summer vacation, making learning easier for them.

With the kind of serials currently running in the other channels at this time band there was felt a need to merge education with entertainment for the benefit of society. Vigyan Prasar developed such content, especially for the series that would broaden the application of science among common audience and students. At the same time the content is interesting and easy to understand for any lay person, home maker, and others.

Produced by Vigyan Prasar "Baatein Raaz ki" is an apt presentation of how science makes our lives easier and simpler. Sciences relation to real life has been explained so that it does not become a ‘text-book’ demonstration but at the same time the students would find it useful as part of their studies.

Animation and Graphics plays an important part in the series, which would give children deeper understanding of difficult concepts. Puzzles and teasers add to the interactive part of the programme seeking audience involvement.

Directed by Bharat Shitole, Creative Head of BHU Entertainment, "Baatien Raaz ki" will not only make science fun to learn but the drama aspect will also grab the interest of each age-group.

raz3Executed by AV-CODE President and former ISRO Director Mr. BS Bhatia and the Director of Vigyan Prasar Er. Anuj Sinha, and with Dr T V Venkateswaran as the progeramme coordinator, the series has been produced to inculcate scientific temper, spreading science awareness and science communication among children and parents equally. The focus of "Baatein Raaz ki" is to encourage the audience to think and explore science in their day to day life.

At the end of each episode a question is posed to the viewers. They are encouraged to write answers. Selected 10 winners ( out of the correct entries) will be awarded VP science kits and books. The winners list is published in Vigyan Prasar website.
