Vigyan Prasar is engaged in the popularization of Astronomy at national level through various means.

  1. To organize Astronomy awareness training   programmes from time to time for schools  and Vigyan Prasar Network of Science Clubs (VIPNET Clubs), public, etc.

  2. To initiate activities like Astronomical   Observations, Telescope Making, field trips, etc.

  3. Design and Development of Resource  Material on Astronomy
