ComCom: Sir, How rain is defined?
ComCom: Sir, recently there is a news about coloured rain in India. What is coloured rain?
ComCom: Sir Every body waits for rain - city dwellers or farmers. The reasons may be different. Why do you think a city dweller waits for the rain?
ComCom: Sir What exactly is monsoon ? Does India has any other system of rains other then monsoon?
ComCom: Sir, Is Monsoon unique to India or It is experienced by other countries, also?
ComCom: Sir What is the effect of pollution on the rain water?
ComCom: Sir What are the parameters used for forecasting monsoon in India? By a forecast
of the mark from realities will it lead to national losses?
ComCom: Sir, following IMD, now Jyothesishes also say as Saturn is the ruling planet there will be 90%
probability for normal rain, is there any scientific basis?
ComCom: Sir Though the idea of water harvesting seems to be good. Do you think water harvesting will actually raise the water table in Delhi? Billions of liters of water should be needed to ro raise the water level be few cm. How much water can be practically harvested in a year in Delhi ?
ComCom: Sir I understand the water level of sea has risen by few cm over the years. Does it indicate some thing is going wrong with water cycle ?
ComCom: Sir I heard some one remark that drinking water would be over much before the oil? whats your view ?
ComCom: Sir I understand some attempts have been made to recover water from atmosphere. what is the process used to
recover water form air?
ComCom: Sir In recent times many religious bodies have performed haven etc to bring rain to their region. Is there any scientific basis in rituals bring rains?
