Quotations are invited for Annual Maintenance Contract of
computers, peripherals, servers, switches and LAN as per the
details given below. Vigyan Prasar is having two offices; one
is at NOIDA and the other at New Delhi. It is required that
the vendor selected for the AMC should provide services to
both the offices of Vigyan Prasar. It is also required that
the vendor would provide one full time station engineer at
NOIDA office. As and when required, the engineer should visit
Delhi office.
A] Following specifications are for NOIDA office of
Vigyan Prasar.
VP, NOIDA is having three servers (Internet server, database
server and application server). These are connected with 25
nodes through CAT – 5 cable and switches. Nodes are
distributed in two floors (Ground and second floor).

The terms and conditions on the basis of which the contract
will be awarded are as given below:
·
The firm should be Authorized service provider
of at least one of the following brands: WIPRO, HP, IBM, HCL.
·
The contract would be comprehensive excluding
batteries for UPS.
·
The firm should have successfully undertaken
similar work in Govt. Department/ Ministries for computer
maintenance. Copies of contract letter in this regard have to
be attached as proof.
·
The firm should have Work Contract Certificate
registered in their name. (Copy of registration certificate
should be attached as proof in this regard).
·
The firm should have PAN allotted to them by the
Income Tax Department (proof to be attached).
·
The firm should have obtained Sates Tax and
Service Tax certificates issued by Govt. (proof to be
attached).
·
A fall clause will be effective to the approved
rates, i.e. if the firm undertakes identical works in other
ministries at rates lower than the rates approved by the
Department, the firm will charge at those rates from this
department as well.
·
Full time Station Engineer to be provided by the
firm.
The firm must quote for complete computer systems. Incomplete
or part quotations are not acceptable.
Payment will be made on quarterly basis against bank
guarantee.
You are requested to quote most competitive rates. The sealed
quotations should be superscripted “Quotation for AMC of
computers and peripherals” and should reach to the
undersigned latest by 15 September, 2008 before 4 P.M.
